Inspired by 19th Century African cast iron currency forms, these sculptures will be cast in cobalt blue glass at John Lewis Glass in Oakland, California and will then return to the East Coast to grace the entry lobby to PayPal's new Morton St. offices in Manhatten. Here you see the the Digital Atelier CNC milling the patterns for sand casting in a hard foam.

Through mid April, my work shares the Silk Road Gallery with master Chinese landscape painter Shen Dawei's beautiful work. If you have never been to the Silk Road gallery on Audobon St. in downtown New Haven, be sure to take a moment to swing by. A lovely space.
