Fire Bowl Beast
I recently discovered the pleasures of having a small fire outdoors around which we could all gather - something of the vestigial cave man response to fire that comes out in all of us. Finding nothing terribly interesting or inspired in commercially available fire bowls, I threw some scrap metal together and the first Fire Bowl Beast was born. Since then I have refined the design into a limited edition of 25 Fire Bowl Beasts each year, individually numbered and signed. Made from 3/16" thick 304 stainless steel, this is not only the coolest fire bowl out there but it will outlast anything on the market. -
Candelabra
From the Tin Man series of found metal sculptures, these utilitarian torch bearers shed a unique light on their surroundings. -
Attaché Case Cutting Boards
No kitchen is complete without a Waterman Attaché Case Cutting Board. The artist makes each one by hand out of exotic wood that he rescued thirty three years ago from the Martin Guitar factory and one of the East Coast’s biggest hardwood lumber dealers when they closed their yard. Today these amazing woods still reveal their extraordinary grain and color in his sculpture and the occasional small run of unique cutting boards. If cooks carried a briefcase to work, it would be a Waterman Attaché Case Cutting Board. -
Foundry Pattern Tables
National Pipe Bending was a well known New Haven boiler manufacturer. Salvaged from the loft of the old factory on River Street, these foundry patterns find a new reconfigured life. The old wood's beautiful honey patina and superb joinery show off the extraordinary skills of the pattern makers of America's industrial past. -
