'Currency' cast glass triptych for PayPal

Inspired by 19th Century African cast iron currency forms, these sculptures will be cast in cobalt blue glass at John Lewis Glass in Oakland, California and will then return to the East Coast to grace the entry lobby to PayPal's new Morton St. offices in Manhatten. Here you see the the Digital Atelier CNC milling the patterns for sand casting in a hard foam.
